Police have established a crime scene at a home on Wagawn Street in Woodridge, Queensland, in their search for a toddler who has not been seen since 2007.

Nine News spoke with a representative from the NSW Police Force who is quoted as saying:

“The State Crime Command Homicide Squad is conducting inquiries into the disappearance of a 22-month-old boy who has not been accounted for since 2007,”

  • How strange. Is there any update on this story

  • Some of the neighbours who were in the area could have moved by now.
Had the Police done this earlier it may have been a lot easier for them. In that time the body could have been moved to another location.

  • How can a toddler be unaccounted for over this period of time?? Surely the lack of attendance at a school or doctor should be screened closer….

    • The child was too young to be registered at a school or even kindergarten.
Also some people change doctors for one reason or another. Could be a new medical centre with multiple specialist facilities, especially if nearer to home.
If you move house you often change to another Dr. nearby. Your usual Dr. may retire and close the whole centre. I had to change Drs. three times for those reasons.
