  • Easiest Lunch

I always have these as a backup in the freezer, make sure to stock up when they’re on special

  • Family Favourite!

    5 out of 5

We love these Prawn Hargow. Pop a few in a bowl, a dash of water, cover and microwave for a couple of minutes – a really quick and easy snack. The filling has chunks of prawns and is really tasty.

  • Too fishy

    3.5 out of 5

We tried these dumpling and found them to be too fishy for us. other than that they are fine, soft and easy to make. We usually boil them and they keep the shape pretty well compared to other brands.

  • Delicious

    5 out of 5

This is so easy to prepare, either in the microwave or a steamer! Probably pretty close to the ones at yum cha just not as big, still delicious!

  • Almost like the real thing!

    4.5 out of 5

Pretty good dumplings for frozen version – almost as good as the real thing, as long as you don’t accidently rip them out of the steamer and destroy the wrapping. Should oil the steamer first or add grease proof paper. These are only good value when they are at least 30% off, but we tend to buy them when they are 50% off!

  • Tasty

I’m not the biggest prawn eater but I do enjoy these steamed prawn dumpling. Not as good as you get in Yum Cha but close enough

  • Chan’s Asian Yum Cha Home Prawn Hargow

    5 out of 5

I think they have a G.F. option in this product as well. Once again these are a great addition to Asian Soups. The Prawn Hargrow is jam packed with Prawns . Delicious.

  • Yum!

    5 out of 5

We have been reducing the number of takeaway meals we by during lockdown to save on money. These accompanied by some homemade noodles or fried rice have been a family favourite

  • Better from asian grocer

    3.5 out of 5

We love prawn hargow in general!
We bought this Chan’s Asian Yum Cha Home Prawn Hargow quite a bit, then my husband found some weird plastic thing in a couple of dumplings and got put off. We generally bought it @ half price on special because it is a bit pricy. Better to buy a big tray from a local asian grocer

  • Discounted but Disgusting

    1.5 out of 5

I was excited to see this at half price at Woolworths as I just loved them but this batch must be made with cost cutting in mind as the dough was thicker and the filling reduced. I hate it when quality is sacrificed.

  • Yum yum cha

    4 out of 5

Absolutely love this product, great for the lunch when we can’t go to yum cha. I only wish it was a larger serving for the large families

  • Not up to genuine Asian yum cha quality & standard.

    1.5 out of 5

Not up to genuine Asian yum cha quality & standard.Poor pastry casing.Cant be sure if contents of ingredients are as described. Can’t taste any real prawns.
    Never bought again after trying.

  • Don’t do it

    1.5 out of 5

With so many Asian and Chinese grocers around, buy har gow (and other yum cha food) from them. I thought Chan’s would be half decent given they go quite quickly when one sale but they taste so processed and not like prawn. The dumpling wrapper is thick and chewy. Had to drown it in sauces to get it down. Won’t buy again

  • Asian @ home

    4.5 out of 5

When dining out to a Chinese restaurant is not an option because you have kids all under two. This is a perfect Asian dinner at home. REAL prawn inside and wrapping is just right. Easy to cook and yummy.

  • Excellent

    3.5 out of 5

These are a great snack or protein addition to a meal. Not to high in calories and if you steam them the oil drips out.

  • Quick and easy

    3.5 out of 5

A very quick and easy dish to steam up and goes nicely with a dash of soy sauce. A big hit in our family to have on a Sunday arvo

  • Delicious

    5 out of 5

These are so delicious steamed with soy sauce on their own or served with rice and Asian greens. It’s full of prawn which makes them worth it.

  • Loving this!

    5 out of 5

    I absolutely love this dish!
It’s perfect for times when you’re feeling peckish and the best thing is you just steam them so you don’t have to worry about it being too oily.
It also tastes just as good as the ones you find at Yum Cha.

  • High quality and cheap!

    4 out of 5

I find that usually anything with prawn in it tends to be quite expensive compared to other seafood but this product is both cheap and good quality.

  • First time we tried this

    4 out of 5

I’ve never had these before and so my husband bought a packet he saw when grocery shopping and I have to say I absolutely love these!

  • Just like the restaurant

    5 out of 5

These are just like the ones you would get in your local Asian restaurant. You just can’t get any closer. They are convenient snack or side dish with dinner

  • Delicious

For frozen dumplings, these are actually great. Love hsving these when I’m feeling hungry and have no energy to cook. Tasty treat I can enjoy without leaving home.

  • Very good!

    4 out of 5

Chan’s yum cha prawn hargow tastes good for a supermarket product,l love Asian food and this is easy and most importantly tasty to eat,a winner.

  • Delicious

    5 out of 5

These prawn Hargow are one of the closest to the real prawn dumplings you can buy in the Asian restaurants and markets. The filling is real prawn and shallot filling and once steamed are soft and delicious rather than rubbery. Our family love them with sweet chilli sauce for a bit of heat while the kids love them with soy sauce. Great standby meal for the freezer!

  • This is one of our family favs.

    5 out of 5

Hubby, the kids and I absolutely love these prawn Hargow. They are absolutely delicious. You can steam or boil them for 8 mins and your done. I prefer them boiled, add a bit of soy and spring onion and your done. The prawn filling is generous and delicious.
