Not the same as a traditional maltese pastizzi but nice never the less. So quick and crunchy from the air fryer. A yummy snack indeed.

These are super delicious due to the tasty flaky multi layered pastry, and also generous cheese and spinach filling. Easily a meal with salad or as a party entree or delicious snack. Kids love these too.

Growing up Maltese, Pastizzis were are big part of my childhood festivities. Everyone always had their favourite, Dad loved the peas, Mum ricotta, and for me it was cheese and spinach. Yummy, not great for the waistline but every now and again we need some good old fashioned comfort food.

Nothing beats nonas home made but this is a good try. Crispy and easy to cook in the air fryer. A little on the expensive side

These cook easy and pair perfectly with a cuppa tea. Pastry crisps nicely. Filling can be a bit inconsistent in quantities, but always tastes great.

These cheese and spinach pastizzis taste really amazing when you eat them right of the oven because the cheese becomes melted and the spinach adds a hint of freshness.

I love pastizzis, especially homemade ones! Unfortunately, I sometimes lack the time and energy to make my own, so I buy these and keep them in the freezer! We serve them mostly for unexpected visitors. It’s nice to have something savoury to serve, that tastes good! The pastry is beautiful, crunchy and light and the filling is lovely!
