I gave these yorkies a try for the first time the other week, and I was pretty impressed. The went perfectly as a side to a roast dinner. Tasty with gravy
Having not grown up with Yorkshire puddings, I had no idea what to expect with these. I find them to be a bit greasy, not that great a taste and a bit of an odd concept all round. However my English husband loved them
From the second my nose noticed the pudding’s seductive fumes begin to waft from my oven, I knew I had fallen head over heels in love with this product. It was love at first bite. I will never forget the slight oily ooze that touched the tip of my tongue, caressing it like the gentle hands of the lover who left me just before my son was born. That cruel, heartless woman! Something else I will never forget is the slam of the door that marked the end of my time with her. And the way my teeth just sunk in! I have no words for the strength and grace with which my incisors penetrated this pudding. So, all in all, fantastic!
My mum makes pretty damn good Yorkies. You fill them witu gravey with a sunday roast. And these seriously are pretty damn good. Its a pain to make them alk the time and even mum uses these.
With my husband being from the United Kingdom, a roast dinner isn’t complete without “Yorkies” so on days when I just cant be bothered to make the real thing, these are a great standby
We always have these on hand as hubby loves them! Quick and easy to make without having to wait until “Roast Day” – hubby would have them with every meal if he had his way!
I know these are pretty easy to make yourself but sometimes you just don’t want to or don’t have the time, these are a reasonably good alternative to home made.
These are nice and very close to tasting like home made. Excellent addition to your roast beef, Yorkshire puddings drenched in gravy. Not sure why you would want to buy them tho when they’re so easy to make yourself. Ok for time poor people I guess
These are perfect on the side of a delicious family roast dinner.
my kids love pouring the gravy in the Centre because of its bowl shape and I love the texture.
This is the perfect baked dinner accessory. I grew addicted to these when I lived in the UK. I can not have a baked dinner without them now. Tasty. A little fatty. But a great accompaniment.
