  • Expensive but fairly tasty

These are best bought when they are on special. The taste and texture are quite nice and the lemon crumbs are a nice touch for something a bit nicer.

  • Iffy

I’m a little weird about eating the frozen fish. I would much prefer fresh grilled fish. Nice to mix it up though from other home cooked meals

A great option for a protein to add to a meal. Easy to cook up in the air fryer. Super crunchy. Stock up on sales for good value. We have with chips and veg. Family fave.

This is a family favourite with just the right amount of lemon taste and the fish is nice and soft and with that crunchy crumbs its a winner especially good with some hot chips

  • Love the lemon

I think it’s the lemon that makes these taste great. They were quick to heat in the oven and made for an easy “take away” meal at home.

  • Our favourite

These birds eye crumbed dory lemon crumbs are devine. They are that 1 step above the original dory for me. These are beautifully seasoned with a refreshing lemon taste and are full of flavour. I always pair this with a nice salad making a nice light meal. Cook them in the air fryer and they are always crunchy.

  • Tasty and quick

    5 out of 5

I’ve 6 kids and all eat these, they are healthier than fish fingers too & make for a quick healthy dinner with frozen vege

  • Love the lemon

    4 out of 5

These are delicious for frozen packet fish. The lemon just compliments the fish perfectly and saves me having to add lemon on top after I’ve cooked it

  • Yum

Bird’s eye crumbed dory lemon crumbs is yummy, it has a nice flakey fish inside with a crunchy outer coating which has a pleasant subtle lemon flavour.

  • Subtle lemon taste

    5 out of 5

I love this fish. The lemon is subtle which is nice. I like to put this in the oven with some oven fry chips, a salad and it’s a very quick meal for when I’m time poor.

  • A great Standby Meal

    4.5 out of 5

I try to have a pack of Birds Eye Crumbed Dory in my freezer for those times when you need a quick dinner or even at lunchtime. Dory is a beautiful fleshy fish and with lemon crumbs by Birds Eye they are delicious.

I don’t eat seafood but will eat this on Good Friday. Not a strong taste and easy too cook. Kids enjoy it. We have it with hot chips n salad

  • Mild lemon flavour

    4 out of 5

The crumb on this fish has a mild lemon flavour, which works well for our house as my husband doesn’t like lemon but doesn’t mind these. I just add extra lemon juice!

  • Quick

    4 out of 5

Quick and easy dinner made in the airfryer. Nice and crunchy and goes well with a side of veg. I prefer the batter free types but the rest of the family enjoy this coating

  • Love the Lemon Fish

    4.5 out of 5

We’re not into bones etc in fish, and this one is perfect and a nice lemon flavour, although I must admit to adding more lemon squeeze to it.
Great for quick easy meals, fish, chips & peas is a favourite – also great on wraps for the next day.

  • Delicious!

This fish is perfect. My son apparently dislikes fish. However gobbles these up as soon as they hit his plate! Easy to cook. And even easier to eat!

  • Quick mid week dinner

Quick and easy to cook, great for mid week dinners. The fish is soft and succulent and the crumb is crisp with just a hint of lemon.

  • Great for a quick weeknight dinner

    4 out of 5

This fish is quick and easy in the oven and tasty. Crispy and great for dinner on a busy week night when the kids have after school activities.

  • more lemon would be better

    4 out of 5

These were quite nice and a great way for me to get more fish into my kids diets. The quality of the fish inside was good also, however i would prefer it to be a bit more lemon taste in the crumb. Easily remedied though with a little squeeze of fresh lemon.

  • Quite yummy fish

I really nice and easy fish to put in the oven to cook and then serve as soon as it is out -tastes really nice.

  • Very Nice

We have fish twice and week and I often buy Birds Eye crumbed lemon dory because it’s one of our favourite types of prepared fish. So easy for dinner – just oven heat along with some frozen chips. Easy.

  • Kids are not a fan

    3 out of 5

I don’t eat fish myself, and can’t cook it, so have to rely on these fish in boxes for kids to get exposure. Kids don’t like this one, I’m not sure if it’s because fo the covering or type of fish.

  • Ok for simple quick food

    3.5 out of 5

I wouldn’t say it tasted anything like fish and the lemon was pretty mild but it is edible and not offensive. It definitely needs extra lemon or a strong sauce of some kind though.

  • Great for an easy meal

    3.5 out of 5

I normally find that frozen fish is tasteless and needs plenty of sauce but actually found the crumbed dory really enjoyable although I did add some more fresh lemon squeezed on top. Even my toddler approved with just a side of green peas it was an easy dinner.

  • Good!

    2 out of 5

Convenient and tasty for the kids. My husband and I don’t mind it either. A decent crumb but needs to be well cooked to crisp up enough.

  • Nice fish

    4 out of 5

I like frozen fish for convenience being a mum of little ones. It’s tasty, comes out golden and crisp coating yet the inside is still moist.

They weren’t as lemony as I had hoped it was a very faint flavor to them. My son on the other hand really enjoyed them which is a first.

These are really quite yummy with a side of mashed potatoes and some vegges. My kids don’t mind them and they’re great alternative to normal fish

  • Found it dry

    2.5 out of 5

It is convenient to have when your short on time to cook something although I found it a little on the dry side which wouldn’t be a favourite.

  • Good to have in freezer

    5 out of 5

These fish are very versatile I have had them with salad or chips also in a burger with salad good to keep a pack in the freezer as I use them often. Very easy to cook and not much washing up one tray can do Fish and Chips and one bowl for Salad.

  • Couldn't eat it

    1 out of 5

One of the fillets was okay but they other one was so strong fish flavoured I couldn’t eat it. My husband managed to finish mine off though.

  • Convenient but just ok.

    2 out of 5

This isn’t something I’d buy on a regular basis because I found the lemon crumb to be overpowering and the flavour seemed synthetic rather than fresh. Not a big fan.

  • Not bad

    4 out of 5

We buy these each fortnight with the rest of our groceries. Can’t complain too much about them, they are value for money, but we’re sure the portions are getting smaller?

  • Tastey fish

    3.5 out of 5

I really enjoyed this fish. Thick chunks that cook up moist. Nice light fish taste and not too crunchy coating. Complete meal served with a salad and maybe oven fry chips, for those times we don’t have much time

  • A lovely meal in a box!

    3.5 out of 5

I first tried this at a demonstration at Woolies! I loved the crunchy, crisp coating on it straight away although I only had a very tiny cubed sample. I purchased a pack and we have loved them ever since. There are other varieties that are just as delicious!
