Bird’s Eye Deli New Zealand Hoki I’ve purchased because our family likes this fish we think it’s good quality I wouldn’t purchase and the other frozen fish except for this one we have tried many different Frozen fishes on the market but this is the best one,

The hoki itself was really nice however it’s very expensive for what you actually get.
You only get 5 pieces of very small fish which is definitely not worth the price.

Tried this fish, the portions are slim pieces and we had hotdog rolls they fit into perfectly. They were very yummy, crispy outside and fresh inside even my toddler like them

I just tried this fish and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t actually really fishy as I was expecting. It has a great flavor. Also the pepper and salt ones are really good too.

New Zealand Hoki has lovely white flesh without the fishy taste. This brand from birds eye is a little more expensive than it’s competitors but it won’t disappoint. The crumbs don’t fall off during cooking and a quick flash in the airfryer is all that is needed for a golden brown crispy finish

These are delicious, crispy but still moist. If you overcook them they can fry out a bit but still taste great. Perfect with roast vege

First try of Birds Eye Deli fish, had me hooked at first bite. Only 5 minutes in the airfryer, you end up with a beautiful crunch on the outside but lovely flaking flesh inside.

These deli hoki fillets taste just as good as fish and chip shop fish. They have a light crispy batter with the right amount of crunch! Always have these in my freezer to have with salad, chips and wraps!

They taste great, like a takeaway fish and chip shop. But they are quite expensive for the amount of fish you get (5 pieces) and have a bit of oil seeping out when cooked. At the end of the day, they are a “fast” food, so don’t get fooled into thinking that they are super healthy just because they are made at home.

These are really nice fish fillets with a nice crunchy batter. The fish isn’t oily or greasy. the NZ Hoki is a good fish but I find it is often hard to find the NZ Hoki, this often comes with Australian fish, the NZ one is nicer.

We bought these for fish tacos the other night and they came up so well in the oven. Super crunchy and golden on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. Perfect size for our fish tacos.

It has a nice light flavour and flakey flesh without being dry when cooked in the oven. The batter isn’t heavy either. It’s a pleasant fish to eat but I only buy when on sale as there isn’t much in the pack for the price.

The first time I bought this it was a bit of a flop as I didn’t cook it for long enough the at first (I was still getting my bearings with the oven) and it didn’t taste great since the insides were soggy and so I had to put it in the oven again. However, I decided to give them another go recently and made sure to cook them well and they were amazing! The covering was crunchy and the insides were cooked but soft!
