Let’s just say frozen meals have come a long way since these original ones. These are sill okay but can be watery and there is definitely much better out there

Turkey is drier than chicken so you’d be correct in thinking this is the same as well. Avoid. A meat like this needs to be served fresh, not frozen.

I thought the chicken one was my least fave but I’d forgotten about this one! Lacking flavour and just not very tasty. I won’t have this one again

Not the worst frozen dinner, the flavour is okay but it is a bit bland. Would eat it if nothing else available but would prefer other frozen dinners

Yummy turkey meal! This product is very convenient to keep in the back of the fridge for a quick, last minute dinner or for my children to make themselves.

Compared to the other frozen meals available this one to me is ‘you get what you pay for’ with the turkey being to dry for me (saved a little by the sauce) and veggies watery and soggy

Yeah, not bad. Home cooked is best. But as far as frozen, pre packaged meals go, this isn’t too bad. At least it has all the components of a healthy meal. Good for when you don’t have time to cook

convenient and tastes fine although nothing amazing. Sometimes worry about the salt content and the value for money when compared to making your own at home. Its a sometimes thing.

If it did not have cranberries in it I would have been disappointed. The turkey was drier than I expected it to be. You would definitely need to make sure you didn’t heat it for too long

A convenient meal but too small for my partner. He said the turkey was an odd texture and the veggies soggy so not for us. Q

Out of all the McCain Frozen Meals this one has to be my favourite. Even though the turkey is processed, it was still yummy. I’d suggest buying when on special though as the price can be a bit steep for what it is!

Not a fan! The veggies were light on, the meat processed and the potatoes hard … make it yourself for better value and taste!

So my family first tried turkey in Spain over the holidays with my sister’s family and because of that we bought this when we got home!

I didn’t mind the turkey but found the potatoes on a few occasions were tiny and mushy when cooked for the stated time and temp. They were also not very many of them at all. There seem to be too many carrots and they are always too hard. I wish the cranberry sauce was on the side for people that don’t like it like me. I always try and scrap it off.

This meal is the best of the McCains ‘like type’ meals. The meat is too processed but juicy and the veggies and gravy are pretty good for a frozen meal.

I am not big into frozen meals, they don’t taste the same as fresh. Having said that, my son Nick when working away from home lives on them. He loves this Turkey Roast, as it is healthy protein and fills his tummy

McCain roast turkey is a product that l will not buy again.It doesn’t taste like roast turkey,the size is very small and it is tasteless!
