Simple and tasty pie, nothing special about it, it ain’t gourmet but it’s a pie and it hits the spot! Just what you need in the freezer for those lazy meal times. Husband loves it, and so do the kids.

Sargeants pies were a family favourite growing up in my house, and I still enjoy them. The pastry is the right amount of buttery, crumbly goodness but is still firm enough to hold up to the meat and not get soggy.

We love these pies for a quick meal.They are full of meat and the pastry always cooks up crispy.Great with tomato sauce on a cold day.

Sometimes, I love to do an easy meal, and that is when the pies come in very handy, specially when watching footy or car racing. Just heat them up, serve and all done. Good brand, lovely and meaty, packed with tender meat and heaps of flavour.

These are very nice pies and one of the cheapest you’ll find at woolies. Great to have in the freezer and the pasty goes nice and crispy

Always have a pack or 3 in the freezer! Great for if mums not feeling upto cooking dinner just Wack these in the oven and presto! Delicious and crunchy pies!

Love these meat pies! These are really convenient pies to have in the back of the freezer as hey are quick and simple to heat for an easy dinner.

These are ok for the price but don’t stand out for me. The pastry is a bit dry and there is gristle in some of them

My dad just loves SARGENTS MEAT pies this is the only brand he eats its so full of meat and the pastry is not too bad

My partner loves these and that’s amazing for me as they are one of the cheapest ranges available. Nice and quick to cook in the air fryer

Sargents meat pies are not as great as a freshly made pie but they are the closest ones in comparison to other frozen pie brands. They have a nice flavour and a reasonable gravy to meat ratio. Very enjoyable.

The meat in this pie is very smooth and not too runny. It has a fairly thick and creamy consistency that slowly oozes out of the pie.

I used to get these pies a fair bit until I discovered the Herbert Adams range. I prefer the gourmet H. Adams range but still buy these for my son as he really likes them. The pastry is nice and the Sargeants pastry decoration on top is nice and a novel idea as well. The meat is ok and my son prefers it to the chunky style meat that’s in gourmet pies. They are really good value and a good pie for kids.

As far as the more affordable brands of pies go, Sargents is the cream of the crop in my opinion. I especially love the pastry “stamp” on the crust of the pie!

pastry was great, nice and crispy but the meat was so so, chunks of meat that could have been smaller and easier to eat, was a bit messy to eat

Theee of us had these from a pack and all hated them. Pastry was ordinary, but the kicker was that we all got giant chunks of fat and gristle.

Sargents frozen meat pies are tasty and delicious meat pies with a meat filling that does taste good and a good pie shell. Delicious served hot with tomato sauce.

I was happy with the taste of this pie. Had good filling and find this handy to have in the fridge for an easy meal.

Love the shortcrut disc on the top with the puff pastry it adds such a unique texture component to the rich and sumptuous filling keeps all the males in my house happy
