There is something about this dish that makes it so much nicer than the one you could easily make at home. Perhaps it’s not having to cut up all the vegetables to do it! THe sauce (subtle) is nice too.

I buy a few packets of these and keep them in the freezer for when I need a quick meal accompaniments. Throw them in the steamer and when their cooked, they are just like cooking fresh vegetables. Not soggy and bland like some other medleys out there.

I tend to buy these for my daughter. She lives alone and fresh veggies tend to go off before she eats them. Frozen veggies are just as nutritional, probably cheaper and last much longer
