  • Convenient but bland

    2 out of 5

I found the traditional oven roast potatoes quite bland they do cook quick though and I like that they are convenient as they are frozen I did like them with a gravy or sauce on top but by themselves are far too bland

  • A bit dry

    2.5 out of 5

Cooking them in the oven following the directions they tasted a bit dry and bland. Convenient as a side to just put in the oven but they need a strong gravy

  • Revolting

Roast floury potatoes is a big no no, these were disgusting, do not buy them!

  • Real?

    3.5 out of 5

Not sure if this is real potato or so heavily processed. Doesn’t go crispy and kinda just falls apart. Not a fan so won’t be buying again

  • Not the best

    1.5 out of 5

I found when I cooked these roast potatoes they didn’t come up crispy in actual fact they were moist and fell apart. I left them for longer to see if they would crisp up and be golden like the pic but it didn’t happen. I wasn’t real impressed with them at all.

  • Bland and didn’t cook well

    1.5 out of 5

I grabbed these to keep in the freezer for a fast addition to dinner if I ran out of time and was not impressed. The potatoes were bland and didn’t cook well, very soggy and didn’t cook through well. Would not buy again

  • just about ok

there’s something strange about these. you can never go wrong with potatoes, right? but there is something funny here. I didnt relish the taste and wont be buying again.

  • Disappointing

    2.5 out of 5

I’ve tried the flavoured roast potatoes from McCain and they were really good. These didn’t have the same appeal however as they were not soft and fluffy on the instead, but rather quite dry and the skin was rubbery. Not a fan!

  • Not a fan!

I assumed they would be just like home made especially being from a trusted brand like McCain, not so. Rubbery and no flavour. Wouldn’t buy again.

  • Yummy and up to you

These potatoes taste really good and you can do whatever you want with them. When I buy them I roast and give to my kids to top with cheese, butter and salad.

  • Buy chips

    2 out of 5

Yeah if you want quick potato products buy chips. Cause theae frozen potatos are gross. Meanwhile you have to do the same amount of work with fresh potato so why not just buy baby potatos to roast

  • Never buy again!

I was always curious about what a potato would be like heated from frozen. They are bad, horrible texture, nasty tasting and just a waste of my money!

  • Quick and nasty

Brought these in the Woolies 1/2 frozen sale to try them out. Even at that price I would not buy them again. Used them for dinner tonight as a quick meal with other frozen foods. Could not believe these were made by the same company that makes other delightful veggies.

  • Yuck

McCain can do great frozen vegetable but the potatoes came out of the oven hard and stale tasting. The skins are rubbery and not a nice texture

  • Won't buy again

These McCain Oven Roasted Potatos tasted like they’d been picked up from an old oven in a service station! Like they’d been there forever, cardboard skin, rubbery edges & clumpy & floury. Yucko! I’d prefer to just boil my own potatoes & then drain, spray with olive oil, sprinkle of salt, rosemary – whatever you like & grill to crisp them. Altogether 15 mins – beautiful!

  • Not for me

Brought these to add to a roast chicken! No one wanted to eat them. They were very dry and stale tasting..not something that I would buy again.

  • Pretty good

    0.5 out of 5

I found these to be pretty good. Decent sized and plenty of soft potato inside. A little bland and needs some gravy or sauce to finish off.

  • Average taste and average quality

    2 out of 5

These are very average I wouldn’t normally purchase frozen roast veggies but needed quick and easy they were far from quick and not really worth the easiness of chucking into oven. Potatoes didn’t crisp up despite being in the oven longer than needed and tasted heavy and pasty

  • No Thanks!

Mccain oven roasted traditional potatoe’s were not really roasted potatoe’s as we cook them,a quick and easy option that did not work for us! No thanks!

  • Yukky

Mccain Oven Roasted Potato Traditional it’s really a yukky brand you can get from shops
I really been very disappointed when tried it not worth your money , no taste or flavour not thing

  • average

McCain usually do great frozen veg. These spuds come out a little tough if that is the right word… The skins are a bit rubbery

  • Not Great

    3 out of 5

We love all the Mccain potato products, but this one would have to be our least favourite. What we found is that the different size of potato pieces means that they don’t cook evenly.

  • Not that great

    0.5 out of 5

Potato taste of powdery it wasn’t that great I would not recommend this product even though its convenient and less cooking time. I’ll stick to fresh produce

  • not a hit

    0.5 out of 5

I like products that are convenient however this product tastes horrible! It tastes nothing like “potato” and was really quite dry to eat. I would not recommend
