This bread reminded me of cardboard in its most literal sense. I definitely would not consume this bread. Unfortunately not worth the price or effort

  • Ordinary

    3.5 out of 5

I found the taste and texture of this Country Life gluten free white bread to be quite ordinary. It felt like a dry sponge when it was untoasted. I didn’t mind it as much when it was toasted.

  • Goes stale/ mouldy easy.

My son has coeliac disease and this is the most available bread we’ve seen. Can someone explain to me why the packaging on GF bread is so dissimilar to ‘normal’ bread? Not re-sealable, so you have to put into sandwich bags (using more plastic!) if you want to keep it fresh. We’ve bought this bread and it’s literally mouldy the next day. I think we’ll go back to the frozen potato bread at woolies. Such a waste of money and food. And already salty we pay the GF tax … for something my son can’t help.

  • Dry

I have tried quite a few different gf breads. This one is really dry and bland. It’s not very pleasant to eat at all. Maybe it would be ok soaked in soup

  • Not a fan

I order my grocery shopping online so as a substitute I got this loaf of bread. I hadn’t heard of it and was not sure what to expect but it tasted dry and floury

  • It's okay.

The taste of the bread is okay, but it’s quite dense and drying – you really need something moist to pair it with and take your time eating it. It’s the kind of gluten free bread that squeaks as you eat it. I wouldn’t buy it again, but it’s fine.

country life white bread is very yummy. It tastes delightful shen toasted into plain toast or a toasted sanwich. big fan of this beautiful bread

  • Gluten Free

    3.5 out of 5

Country Life Gluten Free Bread is one of the better ones. It doesn’t fall apart as does some of the more expensive brands. Like all Gluten Free Bread it is smaller than standard size loaves of bread and much more expensive.
You wouldn’t eat gluten free bread if you weren’t a Coelic Disease sufferer or had wheat intolerance

  • Not bad

    3.5 out of 5

Gluten free bread is never really that great, but this wasn’t a bad alternative. Wasn’t too dense and toasted up really well. Wouldn’t eat it as is, definitely needs to be toasted.
