  • Ok

    3.5 out of 5

While the actual bread is quite nice, i cannot stand the flour they leave on the crust of these loafs. I dont know how people find that appealing.

  • Not bad

    4.5 out of 5

This bread isn’t too bad, I do believe the price is a little up there, but the bread is always soft and looks almost homemade with the flour sprinkled o. The top

  • Nice enough

    4 out of 5

It’s not my favourite white bread.
It’s quite heavy, but it is soft (if that makes sense) the taste is nice, but is quite floury, even for a rustic white bread losf. It’s nice and thick

  • Nice slice bread thickness

    3 out of 5

I like that this bread comes in thick slices and feels fresh but I didn’t like the aftertaste of the floury texture on top of the slices

  • Yummo

    5 out of 5

Usually wouldn’t buy white bread for health reasons but my daughter loves it so what can I do?!
I find this bread yummy. Nice consistency and not crumbly like some other brands. Delicious soft or toasted.

  • Our go-to white bread

    3.5 out of 5

My family usually prefers wholemeal bread but this one is always our go-to when it comes to white bread. The texture is nice and soft and i also love the fact that it offers a healthier choice with great taste.

  • Stays fresh for longer

    3.5 out of 5

This bread is always so soft and fresh even when it’s close to its end date. It can be a little pricy but freshness far better than some of the other cheaper brands.

  • Delicious but expensive

    4 out of 5

This one’s a little more expensive but definitely worth it. It’s super soft and fluffy which is great for sandwiches.
    I really like this one

  • Okay

    2.5 out of 5

This bread was a little too dry, I thought it also had a little wholemeal in it too. Still tasted ok and great for toast. The kids weren’t overly keen on the crust

  • Pretty good

    4 out of 5

The only reason I like this bread is because the kids seems to really like it. It does actually taste like bread which is good as some of the ones on the market these days taste nothing like bread.

  • Like it

    4.5 out of 5

I like this bread. You can use it for sandwiches or I usually have it as toast in the morning. Can’t go wrong with this one if you are after a white bread.

  • Nice Sandwiches

    5 out of 5

Great for sandwiches, they a re quite soft and fresh bread. We usually use it for cucumber cheese sandwiches when we go for outings. The yh stay soft and fresh.

  • Nah

    2.5 out of 5

I don’t like this bread much it’s not very white, it’s dense, feels heavy especially in sandwiches I won’t buy it again everyone in the house thought the same

  • Yummy

    5 out of 5

While I always opt for Abbotts Village Bakery bread I do not often eat white bread unless my grandchildren request it. I have to say it is yummy, soft white bread is the best.

  • Delicious and soft

    5 out of 5

This bread is so lovely and soft, and stayed soft for a the whole week. It even feels and tastes fresh after defrosting. It is such a good quality, rustic type of bread.

  • Love this bread

    5 out of 5

First time in ages buying white bread and what a find this was. It has now
Become a weekly staple in our trolley as we have fallen in love with white bread again. Stays soft even after freezing.

  • Delicious

    4.5 out of 5

We love this bread, I find it to be great quality and stays super soft and delicious. I highly recommend and its slightly less than other good bread brands.

  • Premium

    5 out of 5

One of the more expensive breads but well worth the money. Soft, tasty and filling. Goes great and holds up well. Love the taste of it

  • Rustic bread

    4 out of 5

I bought this as I was shopping with my cousin and she grabbed a loaf so I thought I would try it too. I’m surprised at how fresh it tastes and especially when toasted with butter. I love making sandwiches with this bread.

  • Good

    3.5 out of 5

This is a good white bread, but not the best. I find it isn’t easy to spread toppings on. I prefer the rye and wholemeal from this brand

  • Great white bread

    4 out of 5

We all love this bread for toast of a morning. Girls also love it for school sandwiches and it stays fresh for them until they can eat it.

  • Great tasting!

    4.5 out of 5

We don’t buy white bread too often these days but when we do, we love the Abbot’s bakery rustic loaf! Super soft and the crust has a lovely taste!

  • Lovely

    5 out of 5

Visited an aunty just the other day, on the way I stopped and bought some bread, and this was the one I got. It looked absolutely delicious. So pleased I bought it, so lovely and soft, smelt lovely, and oh my, it sure was delicious. Helped to make a lovely lunch.

  • I enjoyed this

    3.5 out of 5

I did like this bread I guess the only factor would be for some people is that it is more expensive to buy but I did enjoy it

  • Tasty but too heavy

    3 out of 5

I bought this once and found it to be quite heavy for a white bread, I wouldn’t buy it again. It is flavoursome but just not the right bread for me

  • Nice

    4.5 out of 5

This is a great bread. We use it alot for school sandwichs as well as toast. Has a nice soft taste. Definately will keep purchasing.

  • Fresh!

    5 out of 5

a not too processed white bread that is sure to be loved by even the pickiest of all eaters aka the kiddies.. great for fresh tasting sandwiches

  • Tasty for white bread

    4.5 out of 5

I often find the cheaper brands of white bread tasteless and bland but this one was actually quite soft and delicious. If I had people over who liked white bread I would buy this again

  • It also comes Gluten Free.

    4.5 out of 5

I loved this bread, in the Gluten Free variety. It has a wonderful soft texture and rich flavour. The only downside is the price, at $7 per loaf it is quite expensive.

  • Delicious

    4 out of 5

Love the crusty edges. Great for dunking in your soup. Normally not a white bread eater but this is quite light and makes great toast as well.

  • Great product

    4.5 out of 5

As most of us would prefer is a whole meal or grain compared to white, but Abbott’s have a great white bread that doesn’t taste doughy and tastes more like a good slice of bread

  • Best white bread ever

    5 out of 5

I absolutely love this white bread. The slices and big and tastes just like home made bread I used to make in the bread maker. It tastes even better when toasted.

  • yummy for white

    5 out of 5

I often dont buy white bread, but did for a treat and it was really yummy and soft and the dusting of flour on the top made it feel more like a home cooked bread rather than a supermarket bought bread

  • Soft

    4 out of 5

I love.abbots bakery bread as it is always so soft and fluffy. Nice generous size slices too which is hand for toast for a few days after

  • So soft and light

    5 out of 5

One of the best white bread on the market. I love how soft light and airy Abbott’s bread is, I love to eat it by it self cause it tastes so good.

  • When I want white bread

    3.5 out of 5

I usually prefer wholemeal or wholegrain bread but, sometimes, I yearn for white bread and when I do, this is the one I pick! It is soft and floury and isn’t too thin or thick!

  • Soft

    4.5 out of 5

Thus is beautiful and soft bread. My only criticism is the floor on top of the crust, but that is only a minor point

  • Abbott's amazingness

    4 out of 5

Abbott’s Village make great breads and this Rustic White bread is divine. So soft and yet it holds up great when made into toast – doesn’t go all flat and pathetic looking. We even like eating it plain with nothing else on it.

  • Generously sized slices

    4 out of 5

I like the generously sized slices – particularly good for toasting. The bread is a little too crusty for my personal taste, and it doesn’t seem to retain its’ soft freshness for very long.

  • Fresh and delicois

    4.5 out of 5

Great for toasties and fresh sandwiches I think the dusted flour on top of the bread looks good and this bread seems like a really good brand

  • Okay

    3.5 out of 5

While I loved this on the day I bought it I found it didn’t feel that fresh the following day. I tend to buy thick/toast loaf but found this to be just a bit too much bread for a sandwich.

  • Bread

    5 out of 5

Love this bread. It’s very filling, stays fresh for a long time and doesn’t crumble when spreading spreads on top. Great for toast or sandwiches

  • So close to home made

    4 out of 5

Soft fluffy slices of bread, make gorgeous tasting sandwiches, toast for when they’re not so fresh. Good price when supermarkets have them as 2 for 1 deals. Grab a couple and freeze

  • Perfect for delicious doorstops

    5 out of 5

Abbott’s rustic white bread is superb for making the famous doorstops topped with ham, cheese and pineapple. They are thick and filling holding their shape after toasting. They are the perfect size, one is filling for children, and our tiny tots like them cut into four long strips for easy holding.

  • Really good

    3.5 out of 5

I honestly think this is some of the better bread you can get off the supermarket shelf that isn’t bakery bread. I would buy again as it always goes down well

  • Families favourite

    5 out of 5

My family love this bread always so fresh and soft and great toasted. Our favourite way is to have it toasted with avocado and Vegemite

  • Not bad

    3 out of 5

The bread itself tasted oK but the day after i bought it the slices weren’t very nice for sandwiches so we just used it for toast. I checked the date and it was supposed to be fresh!

  • So tasty

    4.5 out of 5

We love this bread – soft, fluffy, light and always delicious. A regular addition to our shopping list every week for family sandwhiches all round!

  • Great bread

    5 out of 5

this a great bread I really love it it is nice toasted and butter added and cheese and ham or I use a sandwich press

  • really nice white bread

    4.5 out of 5

This white bread has a body that other whites don’t seem to have, this is what I like about it.

  • Great bread!

    3.5 out of 5

Beautiful soft bread that is fresh and fluffy with a real bread taste. The flour around the edge can be a bit too much at times.

  • Stay fresh long

    3 out of 5

It stays fresh and soft for a long time but it is definitely not as good as any fresh bread from Bakers Delight (which you can keep for a week too and is about the same price).

  • Beautifully soft

    4.5 out of 5

The slices on this bread on nice and thick and really soft and fresh. Perfect for a sandwich or it toasts up really well too.

  • OK.

    4 out of 5

Even though this is white bread, it seems more like a wholemeal. A nice flavour but seems to go dry quite quickly. Not my favourite.

  • Like Helgas

    4.5 out of 5

I purchased this bread, because they ran out of Helgas. It’s basically the exact same bread. Deliciously soft and the powder on top, is great when your wearing black! (Not) ;)

  • Surprisingly good

    3.5 out of 5

I picked up this loaf of bread by mistake, I meant to pick up the light rye loaf. I stopped buying white bread many years ago finding it no longer tasted like bread as it used to. However I was pleasantly surprised on trying Abbott’s to find that it tastes more like I remember white bread of old. Will use this when entertaining white bread eaters.

  • Rustic

    5 out of 5

Abbott’s Village Bakery Rustic White Bread is a delicious tasting bread. Nothing beats this fresh bread with butter, leg ham and cheese. Thick and tasty bread that fills the tummy.

  • Good!

    4 out of 5

My partner loves Abbott’s rustic white bread for his chicken sandwiches to be toasted.I like it on the first day l buy it for fresh salad sandwiches, but it doesn’t stay as soft as the grain bread.

  • Take it home

    4.5 out of 5

Abbott’s make a fine bread. It tastes great, but it is not as soft as other breads, it also doesn’t last as long – less preservatives I guess.

  • Really nice bread

    3.5 out of 5

This is my favourite bread because it is always so fresh and moist. It is also the right size for sandwiches as some breads are much thinner.

  • All round great bread

    4 out of 5

Abbott’s is a favourite in our house, we don’t stick to just the white though we love all their varieties! the bread is soft making it perfect for sandwiches or toast.

  • So wholesome

    4.5 out of 5

I love this bread especially for meaning lunch sandwiches. It tastes fresh, it’s wholesome and really tasty.

  • Great tasting bread

    5 out of 5

We love this in our home for mid week lunches. It has less additives than other brands and tastes great.

  • so soft

    4.5 out of 5

This bread is great. It has a soft texture and is light and fluffy. It holds up well as sandwich bread and Also toasts well.

  • Yummo!

    5 out of 5

Only the yummiest tasting bread that you can buy. I looooove this bread toasted, especially served with runny eggs on top. I think the price is a bit too high for bread though, so I only buy this bread a the occasional treat.

  • perfect for sandwiches and toast

    4.5 out of 5

Abotts Village is a favorite in our household. i get the white for me and the grains for the family.

  • Filling bread

    4 out of 5

This rustic white bread is very tasty, it’s thick and the crust is delicious. It definately fills you up when you make a salad sandwich with it.

  • White delight

    3.5 out of 5

We don’t often have white bread in our house so when we do it feels like a luxury item! Love having this product with honey or jam. Good size and nice taste
