Big thumbs down on this one. Fresh lemons had been hard to find, so I used this instead of zest and juice and my lemon loaf was in a sad state. No punch to it. Not much aroma. Wouldn’t recommend.

I’m not a huge fan of this. I would much rather use real lemon juice or lemon zest in my baking. I wouldn’t buy again.

I really do love to bake and cook in the kitchen and create a vast selection of scrumptious sweet treats for friends and family. Lemon essence has a good flavour and is good to use in recipes.

These are great for so many things like lemon flavoured icing or lemon bliss ball. Yummy! It’s also just really handy to keep for cooking needs.

I used this in my lemon cakes but the flavour was overpowering and not nice. I used only a small amount but was probably a bit too much. Chucked the cake away.

Yes! Absolutely love this product.
It works much better than lemon i think. With using lemons you may have to use a lot to get a dominant flavour and then add sugar so as to sweeten it but with this you don’t need to use too much and it has just the perfect flavour.

I don’t find this product gives a true “lemon” flavour, I much prefer to m as me my own and get the genuine hit. It’s not a terrible product and I do use it in a pinch… just use sparingly

I have a special biscuit recipe I use this in. I only need a few drops and it adds a special something to the biscuits, but too heavy handed and the lemon taste is overpowering. I once left the lemon essence out and the biscuits were so boring. It really is a magic ingredient but needs to be used sparingly.
