    I always use Nestle carnation evaporated milk for my desserts, it is so creamy and rich in taste it always increase the flavour of the dessert. The shelf life is great and and price is also not very low.

    As far as evaporated milk goes then I guess this is ok. Great for baking (caramel slice etc), but evaporated milk is so sweet and sickly.

    I always have a couple of cans in the pantry. The benefits are a much longer shelf life than longlife milks. Just have to mix according to the directions on the can. Good for if I run out of fresh milk. Also making ice cream with this is divine. The texture is so creamy.

    I have been using this in my coffee instead of full cream milk for 6 years and oh my goodness, the creamy taste is amazing! Yes it is a little expensive at around $3 a can, when you have 3 coffees a day, but the taste is well worth it!

In outback areas where refrigerators ahve to be run by generators and space in them is limited, it can be chilled in the can, whipped and used in place of cream. Prior to use it can be stored in your pantry cupboard. It can also be used as an ingredient in homemade icecream

    I use Carnation evaporated milk in place of cream for a healthier option in hot meals. Not quite as creamy but I add a little corn flour and it works really well. Given the dishes usually have herbs and spices included not using cream is not even missed.
