  • Not a fan

I do enjoy the flavour ginger but this was far too bold for me to enjoy. You have to really want a ginger kick to like it. Not delicate at all…

  • Delicious

    5 out of 5

If you’re a ginger lover like me you’ll find this delicious. A nice sugary coating and then the ginger hits you. Eat them like sweets.

  • Gave it a shot

To me, ginger isn’t compatible with my palate as a dried form of food. I cannot appreciate it compared to others but I understand it’s appeal. The taste is a bit strong for me and doesn’t mix all that well combined with the sugar etc

  • Ginger

Living near the ginger factory is a great benefit! Though I personally don’t like ginger that much, the product itself is great, I use it in jams, biscuits and fudges

  • Lovely

This crystalised ginger reminds me of my great grandmother. She always used to love this and would let me have some when we visited. I still buy it

  • A tasty treat thats not too sweet

    4.5 out of 5

I just love the taste of Buderim ginger. Its good for your digestion and a convenient treat that is not too sweet. If you love the taste of ginger, you will love these little chunks.

  • Highly recommended for nausea!!

    4 out of 5

I found Buderim Crystallised Ginger to be a godsend during my pregnancy! I was severely nauseous but I can’t handle strong ginger so was relieved to find these. They have a great ginger flavour and the sugar softens the intensity.

  • hubby likes it

My hubby really loves ginger so this is like a toffee for him. loves the taste and says he doesn’t need anything else. great stuff.

  • Popular with my dad

    4 out of 5

This was my dad’s favourite sweet treat, he preferred this to a bag of lollies. It has a real hot bite to it. Love it in home made chocolate brownies

  • Nice flavour

Love the flavour of these. They are good for eating on their own, or used in baking- I make chocolate and ginger cookies with it.

  • Interesting flavour

We were actually gifted a packet of these in a food bouquet that I won in a raffle. I would not have considered buying it before but now would!

  • Buderim Ginger

    5 out of 5

Buderim Ginger is a delicious and full flavoured ginger and this crystallised pack of ginger is for sure – terrific. I buy this ginger in bulk because I simply love the taste of ginger and use a lot of ginger in my cooking.

  • Best ginger to purchase

    3.5 out of 5

Great quality product. Cut to the right size and uniformly. Taste great. Can sometimes have hard stalk / stem bits in them. Stays fresh in packaging after opening. Can be difficult to find in some supermarkets.

  • Travel sickness

    4 out of 5

I’m not a big fan of a strong ginger flavoured sweet but my mum suggested I try this for my travel sickness. Although I wasn’t completely better, to my surprise, it helped a lot. Is quite sweet & the flavour isn’t something I’d choose to eat as a snack..but for the purpose of travel sickness or an upset stomach..I’d certainly repurchase!

  • Local Product!

    4 out of 5

I worked one door down from the Buderim Ginger Factory for years, and loved walking around the gardens… Their range of products is amazing. I find this a little sweet, but ginger is renowned for settling upset tummies.

  • Great for upset stomachs

    5 out of 5

I always have a pack of Buderim Ginger in the house. Whenever I or anyone in my family has a bit of an upset stomach or a sore throat, we have pieces of the ginger and it soothes everything.

  • Straight up

    4.5 out of 5

I never get to cook with this although I have a recipe ready to go. My son and partner make it disappear. I can eat it but it is a bit strong. Love the smell and flavour.

  • So versatile!

    5 out of 5

I love love LOVE Buderim Ginger. It’s so versatile. I use it to make ginger tea, finely chop it to make ginger scones or just eat it on its own. So yummy!

  • Ideal in cooking

    3 out of 5

Some people eat this straight from the packet. I found it a bit strong.
It is very good for motion sickness. It can be very finely diced and added to frosting for ginger sponges. It can be added to biscuits instead of dried ginger.
