I dont use this often but when I want to make shortbread this is essential. Good texture and flovour to make perfect shortbread. Other then that we dont really use it.
Not for everything but mainly for specific types of recipes that call for it. For me, it’s good with these little potato cakes so it was fine for that. Taste is okay but hard to judge on its own
Have tried a few recipes that have called for rice flour and I was pleased to find that Mckenzies make it and it worked out well as I was originally not very familiar with it. Small box though and the recipes required a lot.
This is a fantastic product. I mainly use it to make shortbread. I have tried recipes with and without the rice flour and adding it really makes a difference to the taste and texture. The brand is very consistent and the box is easy to use. I would like to see it in a larger size.
McKenzie’s is our brand of choice when it comes to rice flour. Shortbread, slices and cookies turn out perfectly when I use this rice flour. It seems the flavour is enhanced. And, my pastry is a winner. McKenzie’s is always reliable.
I have been buying this lots since my son was diagnosed as a coeliac. It’s a fantastic replacement for wheat flour in most recipes. But more expensive then ordinary flour, but I have to buy it
I make shortbread a lot and I love Mckenzies. It always gives me the best results. I have used other brands in the past but found them too grainy and my shortbread didn’t taste as good.
This is my go to rice flour, particularly for making short bread. It doesn’t come in a very big box which can sometimes be a set back, it’s a really great product.
This Rice Flour from McKenzie’s is a great pantry staple for all the gluten-free folks out there as it is reasonable priced and works well for baking cookies and slices with great texture. It makes the nicest shortbread too.

I purchase Mckenzie’s Rice Flour to make shortbread. The rice flour add a crunch to the biscuit. I always have it in my pantry for baking. I love the taste and the end cooking result you get by using it. I love traditional style shortbread and its always a winner using this product.
I use this product to make gluten free tart pastry. I fill it with a lemon curd or berries. It works really well and I don’t need to worry meeting guest’s dietary requirements!
A regular staple in my pantry for those times when I’m doing gluten free baking or thickening meat juices into gravy. A must have considering how many gluten intolerant people I know!
I always use McKenzies Rice Flour for baking short bread. I find it is one of few rice flours that doesn’t clump together between uses. I always keep this in my pantry.
I have use this product frequently when rice Flour required as an additive to a other flours to make the equivalent to regular baking flour for a family member s allergy. I found the texture was consistent each time and the pack clearly stated the products nutrient value and customer information line details. Very reliable!!
I needed rice flour for a specific recipe called Chinese Turnip cakes and didn’t know what to expect and being a first timer for this recipe. I think the packaging is great and attention grabbing because it stood out on the shelves and was impressed how it blended well with my other ingredients and surprisingly the cake turned out well and not lumpy like some flour recipes. Very good quality product .
My kids and I mixed up two batches of shortbread for Christmas. We followed the recipe on the back of the packet and it tastes divine. This rice flour gives the shortbread the perfect consistency and texture.
