No one will know you’ve created this from a box. A very impressive and scrummy dessert which will please the fussiest eaters. Perfect for any dessert platter, birthday table or special treat.
I enjoy making this for special occasions, like morning teas, fetes, family gatherings. It definitely isn’t a dessert to have often as it is very sweet! Easy to make and looks terrific!
The strawberry Aeroplane Jelly slice is easy to make and is quite interesting when set. It was a crowd pleaser and just make sure you have a level fridge.
We loved making this. I lined my pop out base cheese cake tin and let the kids go. They did a great job making it. The colours are amazing but the taste is so sweet that we could only eat small bits.
The kids go crazy for this jelly slice & tastes really good. Basically 3-steps are required in making this very easy slice. The biscuit base, filling & jelly top. I chill my biscuit base in the freezer while making the filling. Once set, you complete with jelly topping. I would recommend lining slice tin with paper to allow easy removal & use caution as base can sometimes crumble.
