Overall I really like this product. The consistency is a little runny but it is good because you only need a small amount to fully cover your face. It smooths your face and also protects. I wouldn’t wear it without covering with makeup as it has a shimmer through it. The product lasts a few months and is good value for money.

Rimmel Fix & Protect Primer goes on wonderfully under foundation to create a smooth base or it is great just as a brightener by itself; a product that I will buy again and happily recommend to others!

I just purchased this Rimmel lasting finish Matt primer and very pleased with the results.
My skin has become really oily lately and I’ve struggled to keep maintain the flawless look with my foundation. It works really well to minimise the appearance of pores and my T-zone appears a lot less oily. The only negative is that when I used the primer with a liquid foundation, my foundation looked a little patchy so I don’t think I blended it well. Having said that when i used it with the Rimmel lasting finish Matt foundation which is more of a mousse texture it worked really well. It’s very affordable and widely available.

I absolutely love primers – they make such a difference when I actually have the time for a full makeup application! Have used a few brands, Rimmel & Maybelline didn’t irritate my skin like others did, but I did prefer the overall result of Rimmel.
