The liquid type of this medicine works better than tablet in my opinion despite the horribly taste. Tablets are fine but I feel it takes a bit longer to take effect
As a regular heartburn/indigestion sufferer, I’m always on the look out for effective, lasting treatment. These chewable tablets were easy to ingest and worked quite fast. But the relief wasn’t long lasting. I much prefer my home remedy of a tsp of bicarb in a little water. Followed by a massive burp, letting you know it’s worked, and the relief is long term
Mylanta chewable tablets are of a fair price, but compared to other products on the market, they dont seem to give me a long time relief from the heartburn, so I tend to favour a different brand.
Been on antacids for the last trimester of my pregnancy and I thought I’d try these chewable tablets for relief as an alternative to QuickEze (it was cheaper by the tablet). In comparison to QuickEze, these Mylanta tablets do not offer as much relief. Usually I have to take about 3 during the day to get some sort of relief, where as with QuickEze I only required 1. In the end QuickEze ends up being cheaper as less tablets are needed. So Mylanta only gets 3 out of 5 stars for me due to not giving the full relief I would have expected.
