These are a little more expensive but provide a good clean shave and the razor head is quite wide and lasts quite a while before you need to replace. Well shaped for a smooth shave.

I really like this razor. I have used lots of different razors over the years and the Schick Hydro is one of the best, it achieved a close shave and left my legs feeling really smooth.

This razor came boxed with a spare razor head and a little suction cup holder for the shower. The packaging said to run under water to activate the hydro silk. I applied shaving lotion, run the razor under water then started to shave my bikini line. Perhaps I used too much shaving lotion but it turned into a gooey mess and the razor had a lot of trouble achieving a close shave. I rinsed off the shaving lotion and tried one swipe without it thinking perhaps I wasn’t supposed to use shaving lotion with it. It felt very dry so I stopped and put the thinnest application of shaving lotion on before trying again. This was more sucessful but I still didn’t feel I was getting a close shave. My bikini area really flared up, more so than usual. After a few days of applying lots of bump eraser the angry bumps and redness went away but I won’t use this razor on my bikini area again. I have since been using the razor on my underarms with very nice results. The shave seems to be close enough and the skin is left feeling hydrated with no signs of dryness or irritation. The suction cup sticks to the glass in the shower nicely and hasn’t fallen, but as a holder it doesn’t really grasp onto the razor and instead balances it so it can fall off easily. Overall a nice razor but I probably wouldn’t buy again.

The contoured handle makes it easy and comfortable to use, this is the only razor that I do use after having tried many and not liking most. I feel that this product gives a really good close shave and to date have no issues with cutting myself.
