We did try the Cat syringe product with our cat, but it was a bit tricky and trying to get the right amount out of the syringe was hard.
We have gone on to the product in tablet form and hide it in his food.
I currently use this product on our cat Tiger and it’s easy to purchase from your local Coles or Woolworths when you do your shopping. It’s 1ml per 2kg cat so easy to work out and dose your cat correctly. It lasts roughly 3 months depending on how many other cats outside your cat comes in contact with. I do believe everyone with cats who play outside should definitely worm and flea your pets regularly. ????
As the wormer I usually buy is now no longer sold I’ve tried a few different types including the Allwormer Paste. Anticipating a wild fight I wrapped moggie in a towel to keep myself safe but he was amazingly fine with it all. He seemed to like the flavour and helpfully licked and swallowed almost his whole dose. The trouble was that there was just sooo much of it. It took some time to get the bulk of it down and in the end he was clamping his mouth & it was slopping down his neck. If it was a much smaller dose for his size it would be more practical.
Our usually placid cat turned into a scratching machine when I tried to administer the paste by syringe. She spat it out everywhere and it was a disaster. Never again.
