When I think of Copha I think of parties with chocolate crackles; the fete stalls of my childhood with delicious homemade goodies; White Christmas with glazed cherries; and the list goes on. It’s one of those products all good cooks kept in their fridge and I’ve bought my fair share of it. I don’t cook that much anymore but my son has taken up cooking and, yes, there is Copha in the fridge.

i see this and think Chocolate crackles that my mother made for us as children. Yes it has other uses but love that it is some simple to melt this and then it goes solid to for the treat it makes. also use it in other type of cooking too besides sweet. Great for those that can not have dairy.

This is so yum! I still remember my mum baking with this growing up. I then started buying it for my baking needs with my kids and i hope they remember this when they are grown. Great product love that its a healthier option then just using butter or margarine.

copha is a one of a kind ingredient used in cooking quite a few things. you cannot really substitute it and it has a strong taste.

Good for chocolate crackles though I cant find another use for this though I have never thought to look up in it as I’m sure there is

This ingredient is great for many recipes. I love making chocolate crackles with the Copha. I have recently discovered that I could use this to make a buttercream type icing as it doesnt melt like butter

I have only ever bought Copha when making chocolate crackles with my daughter. It is perfect for this recipe and always works well. I’m really not sure what else it’s used for, but I know it’s a great product.

You can’t make a classic chocolate crackle without copha! The perfect thing for a kids party, without copha there’s be no treat. I never realised as a child that it was oil though.

I have used this many times for a few different slices and snacks but mostly use it to make rocky road. It works well to bind and set the ingredients together and they stay together really well. I ignore the use by date as I have kept the left over portion sealed really well in plastic in my fridge and it’s never gone off and still works well.

This product is a must for my fridge. Chocolate crackles are a staple at every party not to mention the amazing cherry coconut slice! Great product.

Copha was always used in my childhood. From christmas slices to chocolate crackles. Copha is a favourite also today also. Great trusted brand.

Where would my kitchen be without good old Copha in the fridge waiting for me to make chocolate crackles. I can remember my Mum making chocolate sauce with copha to pour over icecream and it would instantly set. Yes, only years later did I realise my Mum was making Ice Magic using Copha a long time before Ice Magic was new on the market.

my mum used to buy this every week to make chocolate crackles ,
which i then did for my kids, and my grown up daughters do now too for their kids!

I love to use Copha to thin out my chocolate to make it more ‘drippy’ and the coating thinner. A little goes a long way. I would never make chocolate crackles though as I really dislike the strong fatty copha taste it imparts.

Copha always reminds me of Christmas time and fetes. Adding copha to the white christmas mixture and to the chocolate crackles mixture. Easy to use and good and yummy results for these traditional and ongoing treats.
