We use this product in our deep fryer to cook chips prior to having an air fryer. It worked very well and of course over time we had to change it out and replace it.
I don’t mind oil in this form as it can be easier to store and preserve compared to liquids. I would go non-solid most of the time though but had no issues with this
Growing up with South American grandparents, it was either they cooked spanish pastries with only animal shortening which left grease in your mouth or the supafry solidified oil. I prefer the latter.
This is so gross. My parents used this on the bbq when i was young. So thirty years ago. And I can still taste it. I would never use this. It tastes weird and theres way better things for you now. Like coconut oil
I grew up with a glass dish of this in the fridge that came out for cooking then went back in. I’m sure we had stronger stomachs back then. I remember mum scrapping the bits off. I couldn’t bring myself to use it anymore.
