Supafry Solid Oil

  • Pretty good substitute

    4.5 out of 5

I don’t mind oil in this form as it can be easier to store and preserve compared to liquids. I would go non-solid most of the time though but had no issues with this

  • A good alternative

Growing up with South American grandparents, it was either they cooked spanish pastries with only animal shortening which left grease in your mouth or the supafry solidified oil. I prefer the latter.

This is so gross. My parents used this on the bbq when i was young. So thirty years ago. And I can still taste it. I would never use this. It tastes weird and theres way better things for you now. Like coconut oil

  • A good product overall

    5 out of 5

Excellent results, economical, and one of the healthier options available, contrary to the usual knee-jerk reactions.

  • An oldie

I grew up with a glass dish of this in the fridge that came out for cooking then went back in. I’m sure we had stronger stomachs back then. I remember mum scrapping the bits off. I couldn’t bring myself to use it anymore.
