Very yummy cottage cream! These tubs are great as you can get scoop it all out unlike some others. Great in my pumpkin soup or on corn thins

I love eating this cottage cheese on toast with a bit of spinach and tomato. I only have 1 piece of toast as it’s quite filling.

Still disgusting in 2020. Agree 100% with all the negative comments about the change to this product. And I thought it was just me. I also loved the tang which is now completely missing. It does feel slimy. I could keep this product in the fridge for months, after opening it, and it would still keep and be edible. Now with the slimy texture it goes off in the fridge after opening even before the Use By date. Bring back the tang! And I’d give it a ‘0’ if I could because I don’t like it at all.

Like many others, I could have lived on Dairy Farmers full fat or their low fat cottage cheese. Both were delicious and I always bought this brand.
When I purchased it recently I just thought they’d changed the packaging.
As soon as I opened it I realised it wasn’t the same product and that’s when I saw the ‘great new taste’ on the front. It has a funny smell, tastes terrible and I thought it was off.
When Brancourts started selling in Woolworths, I purchased it once and found it the same as Dairy Farmers, but went back to Dairy Farmers out of loyalty.
Dairy Farmers has lost a customer, and Brancourts has gained one in me. Nutritionally, I think Brancourts is better.

I used to buy this all the time. Would just eat it straight from the tub. It disappeared for a while and then returned. I’m sorry, but you should have stayed away. The “new” taste is disgusting. It’s watery and has no taste whatsover. The creamy texture has gone completely. Sorry Dairy Farmers, but I’m going over to Brancourts. Theirs tastes EXACTLY the same as your old recipe did.

I really do love to eat cottage cheese spread over crisp crackers and topped with vine ripened tomatoes and cracked pepper and salt. Dairy Farmers natural cottage cheese is a delicious cottage cheese.

My family has lived on Dairy Farmers cottage cheese for 4 generations. Until they changed the recipe. “Great new taste” suddenly appeared. The new taste and texture are completely different. Noticeable as soon as I opened the tub. Thicker, slimy, without that gorgeous tang. Vile. Have not found a substitute among any other brand. Rang to give feedback, customer service person seemed completely disinterested. I enquired “Why the change?” I hope poor sales will compel Dairy Farmers to return to the original formula. Don’t fix what ain’t broke. If you want to provide a low fat alternative, be respectful of existing/loyal customers and offer a variant – like cream cheese does (thank you, Philadelphia). New Coke anyone?

This product used to be fantastic. But recently it was ‘temporarily unavailable’, and has now returned as a “new recipe”. It’s terrible. Watery, sloppy, nothing like the original. It’s the same as the cheap Aldi cottage cheese, except twice the price. I don’t understand why Dairy Farmers changed a successful product, and replaced it with a sloppy tasteless sour mess. I have tried so may brands in the last few months, all as bad as each other. This week I tried a new one at Woolies, Brandcourts, and it’s exactly the same as the original Dairy Farmers one, so relieved that there’s a replacement. Shame on Dairy Farmers, letting their customers down. Yay for Brandcourts.

Dairy Farmers natural cottage cheese is a good quality cheese.It has a good texture and spreads well and tastes good.Lovely on crackers or in bread.

I like Dairy Farmers natural cottage cheese. I doubt that there is another cottage cheese that would taste better. It’s great on toast or crispbread.

I buy this cottage cheese all the time. It has a real creamy taste and the texture is perfect. Great to put on salads or make dips with. Quality product.
