I use this mainly for a mix for fried chicken as it makes the skin a little more silky and slightly sweet. Great buy here

I buy this all the time and when my kids see it in the fridge they get excited as the know I’ll be making fluffy blueberry pancakes.

This buttermilk is fantastic in pancakes and makes them nice and fluffy. It is also nice just plain as a drink…sour but not too sour and nice and thick. Can also be used on muesli. Yum.

This product is great for all types of cooking.
You can use it to soak squid or chicken in to make it more tender and also is great for baking.

I bought Dairy Farmers Buttermilk but i was expecting something different. More to drink by it self not for cooking. Ended with pancakes but will not buy it again.

Tip: Buttermilk can be frozen …If you don’t really have plans for the buttermilk in the future, freeze it in 1 tablespoon portions in ice cube trays instead. Once frozen, the cubes can be stored in a freezer bag, and since they’re already measured, you can just pull out the number of tablespoon-cubes called for in a recipe.

The Dairy Farmers Buttermilk is a superior buttermilk compared to other brands. It is amazing in cakes-gives a lovely texture and flavour, and also great to tenderise and keep moist chicken-especially homemade KFC. Love it.

I always use this product for buttermilk pancakes and any other recipes requiring buttermilk, I like the texture and consistency, however I too find that some of it goes wasted and also wish they made it in a smaller quantity.

I had a little giggle at the previous comment as I mainly use this for cooking. To drink it needs an acquired taste I think. but give it a try (again) as it is awesome for pancakes and all the baking goods. definitely worth trying the blueberry pancake that’s on the container. the downside is perhaps there is too much in the container for most of the recipes that require butter milk.

Oh my goodness buttermilk is the most disgusting product on the planet. It really is gag worthy. A friend of mine told me that this stuff helps to keep her regular.
