Very good idea, as a kid these were the “it” or “must have” item.
Handy to have all the colours in the one pen, sometimes documents require a specific ink colour, black or blue etc and having them both on hand is great.

As an adult the only draw backs I can see are they area more bulky than a regular pen, though not by much but when one colour runs out you are then stuck either throwing away the pen or carrying around two pens (or more depending on how many colours run out)

My kids still love them though, but we do pend more on them as they want a new one each time the ink of one colour runs out

These are good for high school kids that want multiple pens as it saves buying several. They are good quality and have survived our children so pretty sturdy. The only problem is when one of the colours runs out and the others are still fine, the kids want new ones

These pens were the bees knees as a kid and I’m still drawn to them know. Great for Tafe taking notes and writing assignments.
