Rendang is one of my favourite curries to eat because of the full flavour. I love to cook curries at home because it is so easy and Ayam curry pastes are so tasty and terrific to use in recipes.

My husband and I quite enjoyed this Ayam Malaysian Rendang Curry Paste! Good hit of Chilli and full of flavour, I think it’s a great thing to have in the pantry, just throw it in with the meat and some coconut milk, a side of rice and dinner is done! Love it!

This curry paste was labelled as Mild, however it was quite spicy for us. Even using half the amount as directed it is still to overpowering for our family. Good flavour, just too much heat.

The flavours are there but doesn’t have the oomfpphh factor unless you add your own lemongrass and tumeric leaf.
