Made a lovely pork/beef mince stirfry tonight with a lovely mix of vegetables. All this topped off with a generous amount of Hoisin Sauce, and I must say, it was delicious. Great to have a bottle of two of this sauce in the pantry.
Love having a jar of this in the fridge – we use it to dip our veges in it sometimes, and tastes great with peking duck pancakes! Love the sweet tangy taste. So addictive.
I love a lot of the Ayam sauces and use them for all my asian meals. I tried the Hoisin sauce out of curiosity and found that I did like the flavour and it went well with my stir-frys.
I love a good sauce, but this one is an odd colour and tastes fake. The Lee Kum Kee brand produces a thick and robust sauce more in line with chinese restaurants, so avoid this one guys!
We love a good quality Hoisin sauce to marinate our food, or add it to the stir fry. We find this particular brand is a little too salty although all the required flavors are in it.
