    Bought this product as a recipe I was making required bamboo.
    When I opened the can it just smelled funny!
    I couldn’t tell if they were off or if that was just the way they smelled.
    Never buying this again!

    I add these to my egg and basil fried rice. It adds a bit of crunch and texture. I find I prefer the pieces cut up smaller as the taste is a little bit strong and it’s better than getting a big slice all at once. The smell is a bit strong when you open the tin and I always drain off the liquid . These could be added to stir fries as well. Nice and cheap too.

    I use these when making sang Choy bau. But I don’t necessarily need to buy this brand – I can’t taste any difference between this and the next brand.

    I have tins of these in my kitchen cupboard for all the stir fries I cook. I also like to add it to fried rice. They’re nice and crunchy and bring some freshness to any meal
