  • A staple, but..

    3.5 out of 5

These are an affordable option for bay leaves, but the package always includes many broken leaves which aren’t really useful if needing to use a whole leaf. You can blitz them. Flavour is on point though.

  • Great flavour

I don’t use bay leaves often but when I do I don’t need to use very many since they pack a punch In flavour. I like to add these to stews and in a lot of Filipino dishes.

  • One of the best

I use these Bay leaves a lot in my Asian dishes and soups this brand is one of the best for flavour and it really lifts the dishes to make them so tasty

  • Perfect for Asian cooking

    4 out of 5

I use these in my cooking whenever I make a stir fry or other Asian meals. Easy to use, lasts for a long time before you can’t use it anymore. Adds flavour and is delicious

  • Another pantry staple

    4.5 out of 5

I always make sure I have a bag of these in my spice cupboard. They are great for adding to my corned beef or in my slow cooker when I am cooking up a casserole. They are big enough that they don’t get lost and I can remove them before serving.

  • handy to keep in the pantry.

I don’t actually use these for cooking. I crush them up and sprinkle them around the kitchen to keep the ants away. They work really well. But I’m sure they’re great for flavouring food too.

  • Bay Leaves

    5 out of 5

Bay leaves are a staple in many of my Winter recipes and I like to buy Hoyts bay leaves and store them in a jar ready to add to my recipes.

  • Great flavour for dishes

Don’t have much if this left its seems to last us a while although great for soups and roasts and more and you don’t need much for each meal

  • Keep the weevils away

    3.5 out of 5

My mum always had bay leaves scattered through her tin cans of flour. I do very similar, though my flours are stored in airtight plastic storage containers, always bay leaves in with them. Plus scatter the leaves around on pantry shelves. Useful in some cooking also.

  • useful

Apart from using this to add to soups I find a bay leaf will help keep weevils away from grain food. When I buy flour etc I open the packet and throw in a couple of bay leaves and I haven’t had weevils since I stated doing this.

  • easy and simple

These are easy and has a good amount in the package.
these add a great Suttle flavour.
I use them when cooking meats in my slow cooker.
