This brand is my go-to for Indian curries. The spices are SO fresh they flavour can not be beaten. It’s really not hard to make, especially if you are accustomed to cooking stir-fries or Indian curries.

I have tried a couple of the Spice Tailor’s range including the butter chicken base and I find that the company has gone to a lot of trouble to help people recreate authentic meals at home, but unfortunately I just don’t seem to like the taste as much as I like other brands.

We tried the Spice Tailor butter chicken base after buying it on special last week. It comes with easy to follow instructions and all I had to buy with chicken and use some oil from the pantry. Nothing else needed to make it up. The spices and sauce cooks up quickly, and I was able to whip up some rice and a Dahl by the same brand at the same time in around 20 minutes. Both hubby and I enjoyed it, so much I’ve bought it again. It was mildly spicy. Littler kids may find it a bit much, but I could see older kids like my 7 year old nephew loving it.
