I use Kan Tong Peanut Satay Stir Fry Sauce to add flavor to my stir-fries, but it can also be used to marinate chicken, or to make a satay sauce for dipping. Not the best sauce on the market but ok.
Doesn’t taste like peanut satay at all. I have to add peanut butter myself and all in all, it is just bland. You are better off cooking the recipe from scratch yourself.
I haven’t had much luck with most instant Asian sauces and this was no
exception. It didn’t taste much like satay and has a weird generic processes taste. Not for us.
I was surprised to find that Kan Tong’s stir fry peanut satay was far more runny than I thought it would be. It is okay as a cooking sauce but not as a dipping sauce. It could do with more peanuts.
KanTong satay peanut sauce is a simple sauce that doesn’t quite measure up to other delicious Asian sauces on the market. Some may love it but not for me!
I found this to be lacking flavour and a little watery. I prefer making my own satay sauce. Having said that, other Kan Tong products have been better quality in flavour and consistency.
I was disappointed with this sauce as it was a bit watery or runny. It didn’t thicken up and was not what I was expecting. When I think of Kan Tong, I think of sweet and sour, I think that is their best flavour.
I love Satay Chicken but this one doesn’t really have too much flavour to it – it is quite bland and boring to be honest however I seem to still buy it as the family eats it and it is one of the cheaper ones.
Kan Tong Peanut Satay Sauce is my favourite. I love satay sauce so Kan Tong Fry is definitely a must on my shopping list weekly. I marinated beef strips for 8 hours than fried with onions capsicums. Yum.
Iam very disappointed with this satay sauce from kan tong as it has no authentic flavour and the sauce is runny and lacks of flavour will never buy again
If your looking for a sauce that doesnt have a huge peanut taste, then this is your sauce. My kids loved it as they are not huge fans of peanut butter. It is creamy and smooth though
This sauce did not even provide the proper base foundation for a traditional peanut sauce for asian foods, let alone chinken satay. A home made peanut sauce from peanut butter would be a better alternative
