    I would rather go without lasagna than top it with this. It’s so gloopy and flavourless. If you have 10 extra minutes just make a quick bechamel yourself. Even just pour some cream on top, it’ll be better than this.

    This is a handy bechamel sauce for a variety of dishes, however it is a bit bland and needs a few flavour boosters. it works for adding the creaminess to a dish but its better to make your own.

    Not a fan in the slightest. Would never buy again! This was almost flavourless. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra time making your bechamel from scratch!

    I tried this white Bechamel sauce in my lasagna last week to see what it tastes like and if the family liked it. It had a not so pleasant taste and nobody liked it in my family either. I always make my own Bechamel sauce and its so much nicer.

    It has a slightly odd flavour that I just can’t put my finger on. The four cheese in this range is nicer, but definitely not as nice as homemade.

    Thus is a good ‘cheat’ sauce if you are running out of time. Definitely not as good as home made but goes nicely in a lasagne or cauliflower bake

    I usually make my own Bechamel sauce, but sometimes, either time poor, or just wanting a short cut, I will use this sauce for my lasagne. It is pretty good, and goes in well with the other ingredients of the lasagne.

    I have always made bechamel sauce from scratch for my Lasagne. Due to time constraint, I purchased a jar of Dolmio bechamel. For starters upon opening the jar, the colour was just weird. It looks like one of those Fat free Kraft Mayo texture. Taste was far from Bechamel. Tasted really weird like a dressing for potato salad. My advice is to stay away from it.

    I’ve been using this stuff in my lasagne for years instead of making cheese sauce. It is so much easier its crazy. There is the perfect amount. Would never go back.

    I find Dolmio Lasagne Pasta Sauce BĂ©chamel good for making lasagne though it is a bit thick; can be expensive to buy so we purchase when they’re on special.

    An average tasting pasta sauce. It is rather thick and glumpy (gluggy and clumpy) and actually quite bland, a little like a potato based or flour based mayonnaise. would not buy again.

    Worked as I needed for a quick lasagne. Taste wasn’t too strong, rather the opposite but better it be bland than revolting! Would like to try making my own.

    I thought it would taste like a white sauce but it had a very fake flavour to it. My lasagne has a white sauce then cheese on top but this had more of a sharp potato salad taste I believe.
