My husband grew up in the UK and had Branston Pickle with most meat dishes and also on sandwiches, he still has it with most meals.

i was first introduced to Branston pickle in England – it just seemed that everyone used them. These pickles go nicely with a Ploughmans lunch – cheese, cold meat, tomato, pork pie etc – and also they’re not bad on a ham sandwich. A fruity taste and rich in flavour.

This is perfect to go in a cheese sandwich. Great sweet taste and makes a sandwich more interesting. Seems to disappear quickly in my house so wish we could get bigger jars.

I remember loving this as a kid and would never be without it on salads or sandwiches … rediscovering it again later in life, I still find it delicious on a Ploughman’s or to liven up a bland toastie or two!
