These recipe base mixes are so handy to have in the pantry. They take up little room, boost the flavours for the dish, full instructions, and can make a beautiful meal. Always keep them handy.

Not a fan of this continental chilli con carne recipe mix. It is easy enough to make but just not to my family’s liking. We prefer another brand so would not buy again.

I usually use my own mixture of herbs and spices, but love to keep one of these in the pantry in case I run out of the basics – although I always have to add minced chilli to increase the heat!

Continental have a wide range of recipe bases for many tasty meals. Chilli Con Carne recipe is easy to use and adds good flavour to Mexican meals.

I used this in the mince I had with nachos and we loved it. I keep it in the cupboard for an easy meal if I am running out of time

I use this regularly it’s a great base I often use turkey mince instead of beef and will freeze portions for quick meals on busy nights

Although I didn’t mind the taste it was a bit lacking. I prefer a stronger taste and more chilli heat. These were very user friendly and something I would get when rellies come as they are not big on flavour and chilli.
