I really enjoy the texture of brown rice. It’s got that chewiness to it that adds that little extra texture to your dish. It doesn’t have a strong flavour to it and it can be eaten both hot and cold. I cook it in a rice cooker and it doesn’t take long at all.
This is my go to rice now and we hardly use white rice unless i am cooking for others and I’m not sure if they like brown rice. I prefer the texture of this rice and the flavour.
Let’s face it, there is a flavour difference between white rice and brown and it takes longer to cook. But you get used to the flavour and the health benefits are worth the wait. Yum!
