We tried this the other day and I now will keep one in the pantry for those times when you need a quick fried rice. It was super tasty and had a great flavour. My kids in particular loved it.

I bought this for convenience for the kids to pop in the microwave but the taste of this special fried rice is not pleasant does not even taste like a fried rice will never buy it again

I love Uncle Bens Serves One Microwave Special Fried Rice for lunch, most people probably wouldn’t but I add tuna with oil and have it as a quick meal or snack. The oil stops the rice from been too dry sometimes.

Uncle Ben’s special fried rice is great for a snack and it is quick and easy,great for work! The taste is good but not quite like store bought thou!

Unfortunately this tastes nothing like the real thing as far as I’m concerned. I won’t be eating it again myself but if I can get it at a good price it’s handy to have in the pantry as a side for others.

For those looking for a quick snack or a side to go with a curry etc, then this is perfect. Quick and easy and very tasty. Still not quite like the real authentic takeaway fried rice, but a good substitute for something quick and easy.
