I use the powdered beef stock quite a lot. It adds a lot of flavour to any meal. I love using it in chilli con carne and spagetti bolognase its very yummy.
I keep this handy in my cupboard. I like to add Continental Beef Stock Powder to my casseroles, gravies, rice dishes and more. It is easily stored as it doesn’t take up much room.
I actually find the flavour and taste to be quite bland and insipid …. I’d rather have liquid stock or an Oxo cube to give me a richer and more in depth flavour.
Continental have a terrific tasting and wide range of stock to suit my recipes and cooking needs. This beef stock is good for my soups and other meals.
This is the only stock that I use (unless I make my own). Used to always use the cubes, but once this powder form came out, that’s it, that is what is always in my pantry. Is small and compact, good size to get plenty of serves. And works a trea.
Back in the day stock powders were the go to thing! they really have gone down hill so much over the years and now this one just lacks the punch! Liquid is better.
I used to always have containers of Continental stock powders in my cupboard. Not so much now. I prefer the containers of ready made stock liquids if I have to buy them. Generally I make my own. The Continental stock powder lacks flavour, it doesn’t scream beef flavour like it should
