I use chicken necks to make chicken stock or base for soups. I tend to use use these when I cannot buy a boiling chicken or chicken carcasses. They work well to make a tasty broth with less fat. If the cat is lucky she gets one before I use them in all in the stock

Chicken necks are great for making chicken or master stocks, broths for soup and a tasty base for congee. I tend to use them on their own with seasoning and for further flavour depth, I add other chicken bones. Yum.

These can be boiled to save the broth to add to stews, casseroles, soup etc.
Raw – they can be given to cats to chew on.
