I think these squid rings are great to crumb. They are also nice pan-fried with some salt and pepper. Be careful not to overcook as they become very tough
Usually I prefer my seafood to be Aussie grown, and not frozen – but I make an exception in this case. I buy this by the 1kg bag from the deli and keep it in my freezer ready for when we feel like having salt and pepper calamari (which is often in summer). I defrost it in milk to make the rings more tender.
