    This is one of our households favourite roasts. We don’t have it as often as we like as it’s very expensive. We rub Italian herbs and garlic cloves and it turns out juicy and delicious

    As we do not have a dog I prefer the 1/2 leg that does not have the long bone attached. Leftover lamb is used up by shredding and adding a packet of dutch curry and rice soup and a little water …the perfect mild curry dish.

    I was thrilled when legs of lamb dropped in price at Coles. I love popping one in the slow cooker for a Sunday roast. With garlic, honey , rosemary and a couple of veggies. Lots of leftover meat for scrumptious sandwiches too

    I love a lamb roast, and my weber q cooks them to perfection! Woollies has them for $7.99kg at the moment, which seems quite cheap. I cook the lamb slow, and for a long time, and the meat falls off the bone… The left over meat can be shredded for sandwiches, or frozen for another meal!

Its great paired with steamed greens and roasted vegetables with a dash of your favourite gravy on the side.     I think the quality of meat at Coles is very good and I always my Lamb Leg roast from there. The prices are good and if it is on special… even better! I can always get the size i want and there is not too much fat on it. Good job Coles1

    We love to cook a lamb roast for the family and we try to get one where we have leftovers. Sometimes we cook it in a bag in the oven or for something different in the slow cooker where it melts in your mouth.
