The trick is to make it strong, 3 tablespoons per cup. It’s best BLACK! I feel the opposite to earlier reviews, I cannot do instant for more than a few cups, but this I buy often. Sure it’s no artisanal gourmet, but for $3 I’ll take it.

Yes, this coffee is very cheap, but it’s not worth it because it’s unpleasant. I reckon it’s even worse than it was a few years ago. I’d rather drink a “good” instant than this, and I’m not very fussy; I happily drink other cheap brands, such as Cafe Aurora and Harris.
The best budget options are Vittoria Oro and Mountain Grown, because they’re often discounted at the major supermarkets to 15 to 20 dollars per kg. Anything under $20/kg for a decent brand is a bargain.

It comes in a big value box, great on the wallet. But it’s not the best tasting coffee. I keep it in the cupboard for when people I don’t like visit
