  • cheap but its still a caffeine hit

    4 out of 5

No, its not the best instant coffee but its not the worst either. I find some of the pricier coffees have a foul aftertaste and this is the only instant coffee I can drink without having to add sugar. I purchase this all the time. By buying one of the cheapest instant coffees on the market, I can justify spending a bit more on my coffee beans when I feel like using my DeLonghi machine for a proper coffee.

  • Insta Coffee

A very average instant coffee with not much aroma. Good for the budget conscious and is more palatable if this coffee is made with milk.

  • It’s okay, nice moderate taste

    3.5 out of 5

It’s not an expensive coffee or the best instant out there, but if you do it correctly it’s enjoyable. This coffee burns really easily, so you have to mix it with the milk and sugar first before pooring in the hot water. Even the best brands will taste shithouse if burned. If you don’t burn it it’s got a reasonable smell and a smooth moderate taste. Especially good value considering it’s $28 a kg.

  • Just ok

    2.5 out of 5

This coffee doesn’t have a very strong smell when added to hot water and the flavour was bland the only positive I found was the price

  • Sacrilege

    0.5 out of 5

I cannot believe people actually pay for this coffee. After working in health care (and this coffee being on offer), I am very scarred. Hands down the worst instant coffee ever.

  • This isn’t coffee

    0.5 out of 5

This is the most blandest coffee there is on the market. Every time I drink it, it reminds me why I never drink it. Worst coffee out there. Sorry to the lovers of this coffee but this is really bad.

  • Not a Good Coffee

    1.5 out of 5

International Roast Instant Coffee has been around for a long time, so I have had a few of these coffees and every time I have not enjoyed it. I must admit I do like stronger instant coffee, but the taste of this one is barely coffee flavoured.

  • Yuck!

    0.5 out of 5

This is the coffee the hospital supplies staff and patients. I only drink it when I have not bought any from home for myself to drink

  • Work

    5 out of 5

What work place hadn’t had this at one stage or the other. It does the job when you need a coffee and isn’t half bad

  • I like this as a backup.

    4 out of 5

I normally drink nescafe gold but i get this as a change every now and then. My partner used to have no choice but to have this when he was a commercial fisherman because thatd just what the skipper brought so thats when i had a chance to try it otherwise i probably wouldnt of ever brought it as i never really had powdery coffee before so im glad i tried it because its not as bad as i thought it would be.

  • Great value for money

    3.5 out of 5

Its not a bad tasting coffee for the price. I buy it when its on special for around $8 and it last for ages. Just add a bit of coffee mate at the end and it gives it a lovely creamy finish.

  • Cheap and bitter

    2.5 out of 5

This coffee is inexpensive, but it tastes rather bitter. It is powdery rather than granules. It seems to be the coffee of choice in work lunch rooms.

  • Not the best

    1.5 out of 5

Not the best tasting instant coffee but good value for money. We have this at work so I just sweeten it up with some stevia

  • Not a fan

    1 out of 5

I don’t enjoy drinking International Roast at all. The flavour is more like dishwater than coffee and it has a strange smell that is not so much like fresh instant coffee.

  • Not a fan

    1 out of 5

I am not a big fan of international roast instant coffee while it smells great the taste was not there kind of like drinking hot water.

  • No real coffee taste

    1.5 out of 5

This brand is seriously lacking. It is completely refind coffee. It’s cheap but doesn’t have any real coffee taste to it. The fine granules make it difficult to stir and leaves a watery flavour to the coffee. I would only drink it as a last resort.

  • Good and cheap

    4.5 out of 5

I used to really love this coffee and used to have this all the time it’s got a really subtle but nice coffee flavour I enjoy this coffee

  • Below Average!

    1 out of 5

I have only ever had this coffee when I’m overseas in a country that gives you no other option. It is below average, I honestly can’t believe it’s still sold here. My least favourite coffee of all time!

  • O.K.

International Roast International coffee is a coffee l drank when l was younger and it was very budget friendly, now though l chose a coffee that is strong in flavour and taste!

  • I love this coffee

    5 out of 5

I have been drinking International Roast for 40 years and prefer to drink this over any other coffee type or brand. Most people seem to like coffee pods these days but not me. International Roast is the perfect coffee for me.

  • Coffee for Camping

    4 out of 5

International Roast Instant Coffee is a coffee we take away on trips, either, camping or when staying at an apartment. It comes in a big tin and has a pleasant taste and seems to satisfy everyone that needs a cup of coffee. It is a very cheap price too for the quantity of coffee.

  • cheap coffee

    2 out of 5

International Roast Instant Coffee is cheap enough but unfortunately not loved by my family. They will drink it but prefer other brands. It’s not terrible just not fabulous either. Two stars for price.

  • This is the staple coffee in our home!

    4 out of 5

Instant coffee is a staple i n our home, and international roast is our pick. We’ve tried multiple coffees they are too sweet, have a wierd taste or waqy to pricey. This is pleasant tasting and a great price. A big can of this will set you back $11!!!! Definitely recommend.
