This is such a unique biscuit in the Arnott’s range. They are spiced beautifully and have such a serious crunch. They hold up well when dunked into coffee.
Ginger nut biscuits make the best cheesecake bases. Whizzed up for a large cheesecake, or softened and pushed into patty pans for individual cheesecakes. Also good on their own!
These biscuits are quite hard and crunchy so I like to blend them up and use them as a cheesecake base. I don’t generally like ginger but I find that these don’t have much of a ginger flavour.
We love these, it’s the perfect biscuit to have with a cup of tea, has a good snap, although, even if you leave the packet open and they go a little bit soft and chewy they are still amazing.
Be careful not to chip a tooth on this one – I know my experience has been of some particularly rock-hard gingernuts. As a teen in braces, I had to smash them up with a rolling pin before I at them for this very reason!
Worth it though – paired with a cup of tea in front of the latest streaming service.
I like the flavour of these biscuits, the only issue I have is they can be quite hard and crunchy. If they were softer they would be perfect. I like these on their own or topped with a little bit of brie cheese for something different.
Just finished lunch, and to top it off I always have a lovely cup of coffee, believe it or not, but I’ve also just enjoy 2 of these delicious ginger nut biscuits. I love to dunk them They are packed with flavour and have a good bite to them, delicious.
Tasty guiltless treat to much on when having a coffee or tea. I love the ginger flavour and the crunch. Reminds me of my childhood as these were one of the few biscuits my mum bought
A childhood classic, with the same flavour. These are great with tea because they don’t fall apart when you dunk them. So yummy reminds me of being a kid.
This is one of my favourite biscuits to have with a tea. It’s not crazy sweet. The only negative thing is they are very hard but that’s why they are great with a tea
Ginger nut may look unappealing but its surprisingly delicious with an authentic flavour. Seems super high quality and perfect in every way! Easy snacking for sure.
I love gingerbread and Arnotts Ginger Nut biscuits are delicious. They have the perfect amount of spice and sweetness. Often on special at the supermarket too, which is great.
Memories of my childhood. I’m a ginger nut fan from way back. I love the spicy ginger taste of the biscuits and the fact they can be dunked in coffee without falling apart. Perfect flavour and perfect crunch.
I just love these Arnotts Ginger Nut Biscuits.
Not over powering ginger flavour with a good crunch just love dunking them in my cuppa Tea to make them even more Morish
I recently rediscovered these biscuits. I had forgotten how good they are. The ginger flavour is tasty and I like that the biscuits are harder than the usual crumbly biscuits. They go exceptionally well with a cup of tea
These ginger nut biscuits are delicious and very moreish! A real kick of ginger in a crisp and crunchy biscuit -just as good now as they were when I was a kid!
I really love a good ginger nut biscuit and Arnotts are just great. They are very nice and gingery with that little bit of that spicy aftertaste that you get from ginger. They are also perfect for making cheesecake bases with as well.
These ginger nuts are so hard that it can get messy if young kids get hold of them. Even I find them challenging at times. But I love the flavour, and they’re the one and only biscuit I ever dip into a cuppa.
I love having a pack of Butternut biscuits in the pantry. They are awesome on their own with a cuppa tea or really yummy as a base for a cheesecake. Such a versatile biscuit ????
Arnott’s Ginger Nut biscuits are old time favourite biscuits. They are top shelf biscuits because they have a strong and good ginger taste. Perfect with a cup of tea.
Absolutely love the strong ginger flavour of these biscuits and like others have commented they are very hard to bite but dunked they are delish. Also for dessert try soaking with some sherry then making a log with whipped cream in between each biscuit.
I bought this one and sadly these biscuits are not for me . The flavour is quite unique in ginger flavour but the biscuit itself is way too hard and found it hard to bite into it . I would not recommend these to anyone who has teeth problems and find it hard to bite into food . Really not practical .
Arnott’s has been baking quality into their biscuits using the finest ingredients for 150yrs.
My view is these biccies are at their best dunked, less chance of breaking your teeth. lol.
But oh these are sooo delicious and sooo deliciously gingery.
Placed around the microwave turntable and yapped for a few seconds then placed into gem tins, they make PERFECT tart cases for amazing caramel tarts.
