Bought these because I hadn’t had one since I was a child. Saved to my son how he would love them. I was so looking forward to a hard raspberry filled flavoured zingy treat, and instead was pretty disappointed. Too chewy and felt like my teeth were going to be pulled out. My son said this too. Perhaps Allens could offer a hard and chewy version?

I have loved these since primary school. I think they have changed the consistency over the years as they are not quite as hard as they used to be…..just a bit more chewy. The great unique taste remains the same though…

I loved Allen’s red skins as a child but I think the recipe might have changed a little. Red skins are so good to suck on (because chewing them almost pulls out your teeth) and the flavour is awesome. So sweet, so good and so addictive.

An oldie but a goodie. I love redskins. I enjoy sucking on them and the flavour is just divine. It remains a old favourite for me.

We all love these in my family and i usually buy the big pack for us to share! They taste great and are really chewy and delicious.

Been sooooo long eating these. We all love them and it’s very different to other lollies. My family enjoys these. i put them in the lolly bags for my son’s bday.

I cant believe these are still around i was eating these as a child. They are tasty and last ages. Definitely keeps you busy chewing through all of it

What is it about the redskins? The long lolly. Individual twisty tie wrapper. I bought a packet, more for me than the kids!
Think it was nostalgia reasons. Chewing on the red lolly daydreaming. Hopefully not pulling my teeth out, as I am not ten! Allen’s do have good quality lollies. Good quality food colouring End of day its lollies and now and again they are a fun treat.

How could anyone forget about these Redskins. They are super chewy and take a while to eat which was the best being a little kid. So delicious

A great old school favourite. Love the flavour and chew. Great for a special treat for the kids. Also good when out of the fridge.

I loved this is a child but find them much too sweet now, and so easy to get stuck on your teeth! Funny how your tastes changes as you get older.

We love Redskins in our house, the flavor is intense not wishy-washy like some lollies you get, they are like I remember from when we were children only now they are so addictive that they are usually in my shopping trolley

I love Red skins, brings back memories when I was a kid. It still tastes good. I do remember them being a little chewier but they are good all the same.

As a kid, I absolutely loved these. They were the lolly that I was always so excited to be given. My mum didn’t let us have them often because we always wore them like fake teeth.

Redskins were one of the lollies of choice when I was a kid, and I’m delighted that they’re still around today for my kids. A lolly you can suck on for ages, long-lasting fun! Delicious.

A great little treat, wonderful to share and at a fair price I really love the flavour/sweet deliciousness of Red skins; I would recommend to others.

I keep a packet of these for when I want to watch some relaxing tv. Redskins have heaps of flavour and just the right amount of firmness so that one lasts a fair while.

I loved Allens Redskins when I was a child and now I’m a mum and I still love them and my kids do too. Not something we get very often but as a special treat in my house. They take ages to eat or suck so at least you don’t have lots of them when we do indulge.

These are the revamped version of redskins. When I was a kid, you literally could not bite these babies… but now they are so soft and chewy. Much prefer these.

Allen’s Redskins bring back fond memories of childhood sweets. They are still just as delicious and such a special treat to buy and eat on special occasions.

Sorry but this is my least favourite lolly. It is too sticky and I feel as if my teeth are about to come out with the lolly. It is good to have a share packet with smaller sized lollies and yes I do have fond memories of them but wouldn’t want my kids to have their teeth painted with sticky sugar. Not the best in my opinion.

My daughters love redskins, I prefer buying these than sour lollies as they are bad for children’s teeth. A bit sticky, but you can savour every bit!

I use to eat these as a kid, I like them when they are soft so they are slightly easier to eat.
they have a great flavour but it sticks to my teeth way to much and full of sugar.
So I’d only have it as a treat

I remember these from when I was a kid. I always liked the flavour. But they’re only for sucking. Too hard and chewy to eat them normally. Flavour us still there

I do enjoy the flavour of these and as a kid I enjoyed them more, but these days I find it more of an inconvenience trying to get bits out of my teeth. Or you can suck them but then you look silly and can’t talk until your finished.

I remembered these as a child as it was always sold at the canteens . Even though these have a nice raspberry fruity type flavour , it would have been better if they made the texture softer . I wouldn’t recommend them to kids as I think it is way too tough to bite into them and is easier to suck on them but may take forever to finish . Plus the fact it will get your fingers sticky . Not practical .

Redskins take me back to my childhood days and whenever we’re going in the movies or long flight I’ve always got a pack. I try to avoid my kids having it because of the sugar but as a occasional treat it’s ok.
