This After Dinnermint Trifle is a great dessert to take along to a dinner party… Especially if you want to be invited back!

Ingredients (serves 20)

  • 1 Pkt White Wings Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix
  • 1 Pkt White Wings Chocolate Mousse
  • 600ml Cream
  • 1 x 220gm Cadbury Block - Peppermint
  • 1 Pkt Peppermint Crisp

Method

  1. Prepare brownies as per packet instructions. Let cool and cut into small squares.
  2. Prepare chocolate mousse as per packet instructions.
  3. Whip cream until light and fluffy.
  4. Chop 3/4s of Cadbury peppermint block. Grate entire bar of peppermint crisp.
  5. Layer brownies, then mousse, then cream. Top with chopped Cadbury peppermint. Layer again with brownies, them mousse, then cream.
  6. Decorate top with grated peppermint crisp and place alternating brownie squares and Cadbury peppermint squares around the outer rim (see pic)
  7. Refrigerate for yummiest results.

Notes

You can use any brand of brownie mix, bit I've tried them ALL and White Wings is the best without spending a fortune.

  • I’m not usually a fan of trifle but this looks and sounds delicious. I will have to try this one out. My kids aren’t huge fans of peppermint flavours which means more for me. Calories don’t count during the holiday season right??

  • This sounds 100% heavenly but my weird husband hates choc mint :(

  • I want to eat this soooo badly. I worry that making this would mean I would eat the whole lot. Not everyone I know love choc and mint as much as I do, but this is my idea of heaven.

    • Thats a risk I’d be willing to take. Too many times have I made things then ate the lot.
