Ingredients (serves 16)

  • 1/2 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Australia’s Own Like Milk – Unsweetened
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almond meal
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (85g) dark chocolate, chopped

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C fan-forced and line a baking dish with coconut oil
  2. In large bowl combine the banana, peanut butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and Like Milk
  3. Add the almond meal, ground flaxseed and baking powder and mix well
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate then pour into baking dish
  5. Bake in oven for 25- 30 minutes

  • They look very tasty but I’ve never heard of Australia’s Own Like Milk and other ingredients are not available where I live. It’s a shame because a couple of people I know are vegan and it’s a plate I could have taken for morning tea.
