Yum, beef stroganoff, lovely on a cold evening and so quick and easy to make!

Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 700g Lean beef strips
  • 250g Mushrooms
  • 1 Onion
  • 400ml Sour cream


  1. Slice mushroom and cook for 2 minutes in pan. Set aside.
  2. Brown the beef in batches and set aside.
  3. Slice mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes in pan. Add sour cream and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Return beef and onions to the pan and cook for further 4 minutes.

Notes... Great served with mash potato and veggies.

  • Beef Stroganoff is one of those recipes that is a favourite during winter. Just so satisfying with pasta or mashed potato.


  • So easy and looks so delicious, will definitely be trying this one


  • I think you need to change the method as points 1 and 3 are the same. I think you mean onion on point 1!

    • I switched them around as I realised was a little typo too! :)
