A delicious accompaniment to a meal.


Ingredients (serves 3)

  • 1 cup oil
  • large saucepan full water
  • pinch salt
  • 2 cups pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • pinch pepper
  • a few sprigs parsley chopped

Method

  1. Cook pasta in oil and salted water until al dente. Drain.
  2. Melt butter, add pepper and chopped parsley and stir.
  3. Pour melted butter mix into the pasta and mix. Serve.

  • Pasta with butter is yummy.
    I sometimes add sage with ravioli and burnt butter. Pasta is so versatile!

  • This is amazing . When I don’t have any sauce I just use garlic and butter and perhaps some oil with some greens such as shallots and it is really nice and simple. Sometimes I think the natural taste of pasta can be ruined with too much sauce so this is natural and simple way to make it without too much fuss . Thank you
