Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 Cup self raising flour
  • ¾ Cup Greek style yoghurt
  • ¼ Cup diced bacon
  • ½ Cup tasty cheese, grated

Method

  1. Combine self raising flour and yoghurt to form a dough. Sprinkle a little flour on kitchen bench and gently knead dough a few times to ensure combined.
  2. Make balls of dough in desired size. Place together on baking tray.
  3. Sprinkle diced bacon and grated cheese on top. Bake at 180°C for approximately 10-12 minutes or until golden.

  • I love, love, love cheese and bacon bread, especially from those small Asian bakeries. They always do the best ones.
    Everytime I buy them from Coles or woolies they don’t put enough bacon or cheese.
    This seems simple enough for me to make. I’m not very good when it comes to making bread it always ends up rock hard or flat so hopefully me trying to make this works out lol.
